Are the puppies health-checked by a veterinarian before going home with their new families?
Our golden retriever and goldendoodle puppies are checked regularly by a veterinarian, given their first rounds of essential vaccinations, and are dewormed. Additionally, each puppy receives daily health exams to ensure they’re in peak health.
Do you offer a health guarantee for your puppies?
Yes, we offer a 24-month health guarantee for all our puppies. We are committed to breeder healthy and happy puppies, and our health guarantee reflects this commitment.
Are the parent dogs health-tested for common breed-specific issues?
Absolutely. Golden Puppies use several methods to check the genetic health of our dog parents to ensure we pass on good genes and breed the highest quality of puppies. On our Puppy Parents page, you can view puppy mom and dad’s genetic test results, birth certificate and lineage, and other information.
Will you provide health certificates or DNA tests of puppies and parents?
Absolutely. Puppy & Parent health certificates and DNA tests are available to you on each individual Available Puppies and Puppy Parents page.
At what age can I bring my puppy home?
Most puppies are ready to go home to their owners around 8 weeks of age.
Are your puppies microchipped?
All puppies from Golden Puppies will receive a prepaid, lifetime MicroChip ID with an identification implant. This guarantees that if your puppy goes missing, the person who finds them can have them scanned and then contact you to return them.
What food are the puppies fed?
All our puppies and dogs are fed TLC Whole Life Nature Dog Food. We recommend TLC because it is formulated with the highest quality ingredients, suitable for dogs of all ages, and affordable.
How much do your puppies cost? Do you require a deposit?
The starting price of our Golden Retriever Puppies is $2250. This includes a $250 deposit.
The starting price of our Goldendoodle Puppies is $1750.00. This includes a $200.00 deposit.
What is your refund policy if I change my mind?
All goldendoodle & golden retriever puppy deposits are refundable before Puppy Selection.
How often do you breed a particular female?
Golden Puppies prioritizes the health and well-being of our dogs above all else. Typically, we breed a particular female no more than once a year. This schedule allows ample time for recovery and ensures that our females remain healthy and happy.
Is there a return policy in place if someone can’t keep their dog?
Yes, we have an open return policy to ensure the well-being of our dogs. If for any reason you find yourself unable to keep your dog, you can return them to us at any time, at any age, and for any reason.
Do you begin any basic training before the puppies go to their new homes?
Yes, we offer a basic training course for new puppy buyers to help ensure a smooth transition for both the puppy and their new family. This added on training course begins when your puppy is 7 weeks old and typically lasts about 2 weeks.
Do you offer support after the puppy goes to its new home?
Golden Puppies is committed to being available for the entire life of your new dog. No matter what your goldendoodle or golden retriever question is, feel free to reach out at any time.

Do you ship puppies, and if so, what’s the process?
Golden Puppies offers several transportation options for your puppy. We work with drivers and flight services to accommodate your puppy transport, no matter how far they need to go.

Do you require a breeder’s contract when selling a puppy?
Yes, we require a Dog Bill of Sale Contract that outlines the commitments and expectations signed by both the breeder and new dog owner. This contract is a culmination of our dedication to ethical breeding and responsible ownership.
Will I receive pedigree papers or registration documents for my puppy?
Yes. Upon picking up your new pup, you will receive all pedigree papers and registration paperwork, which also can be found online.
